The shadow realm; is home to all the ousted species in Valesaries. Due to the Divine race being both blessed rulers of Valesaries, their behaviours haven't been always what you'd hope from all mighty beings. Just one of their acts were sometimes the result of the creation of cursed being, beings once human, now a twisted form of themselves either to better or worse to serve or to punish those cursed or to punish someone for the sins committed against the cursed being.​ As a result their lifecycle isn't fixed like naturally born humans or animals. The reason why this occurs only in shadow realm beings organically born but created by magic and usually with intended purpose, by gods with separation anxieties, boredom and with an inexhaustible power source at their disposal. For example an incubus isn't born but it's changed, Sirens, Vampires and Succubus are the same in this regard, once an organic creature changed by a god to whatever form they desired no longer die or die int the same timeframe as uncursed would. The perimeter of their life cycle weren't predetermined before the death of their creators so what became of them are comparable to lost children without direction, be it destructive or devoid of motivation to carry out their previous duties.​​ For example Nymphs were the daughters born to a Earth goddess with the purpose to cultivate the earth and keep the worlds typography in whack, (no random deserts right next to ice tundra and a lava field next to healthy field of flowers) but a continuous healthy biome. In addition to keeping the earth fertile and healthy this was their primary directive but without the earth goddess they lost all direction and lost their point to living, they now walk the earth with little memory or their purpose, a hole in their soul and enslaved for lust filled monsters.

As all of the beings that dwell here were born to the gods by invention they hold the strongest faith of the gods return, expressing devotion and praise toward the gods. Notably almost all of the beings here were born before the god's eradication 800 years ago and all remember the misdeeds which led to the rise of the usurper, Maniture, As a result Maniture has been banned from stepping foot upon the hallowed earth of the shadow realm for threat of an uprising. Due the their Unwavering loyalty to the gods they often find themselves in an unusually calm often pretending to be subservient to Mantiure's whims to prevent raising suspicion whilst working towards returning favour back to the gods and the eventual overthrowing of the usurper. Until then the residents must endure being Maniture's least favourite realm and all considered to be from the realm often  being ignored or used for degrading purposes, slaves, servants and pleasure slaves.

Mantiure himself despite his distaste for the realm who ousted him is considered himself to be a man touched by a god and twisted by a curse.
